"Lanterns" is a superhero fantasy with a detective nerve, where behind the bright cosmic possibilities there is a strict idea of responsibility. At the center of the story are usually law enforcement officers who work not on one street or in one country, but on the scale of the universe, and therefore their mistakes can be catastrophic. The series is interesting because it combines investigation and scale, when the heroes search for the source of the threat, sort out traces, check leads and at the same time are forced to keep under control a force that reacts to will and emotions. In Lanterns, not only battles are important, but also the rules of what is allowed to a defender, where is the line between justice and arbitrariness, how not to lose humanity when you know how to create weapons with your thoughts. The atmosphere is often built on contrast, calm conversations and sudden outbreaks of danger, cosmic beauty and cold cruelty. This is a series for those who want not just effects, but a story about duty, fear, determination and the price paid by those who hold the light in their hands.
